Gilligan Island

They were stranded for fifteen years. On October 14, 1978, Rescue from Gilligan’s Island aired on NBC to massive ratings. The island is sinking, the castaways escape on a makeshift raft (which Gilligan promptly sets on fire), and the Coast Guard rescues them. But going home proves harder than being stranded.

Ginger finds Hollywood has moved on, the Professor’s career is eclipsed by fame, the Howells face betrayal, and Mary Ann is about to marry the wrong man. As Skipper and Gilligan track them down, the group slowly reunites. Creator Sherwood Schwartz self-funded the film, and the emotional homecoming scene drew real fans to the harbour.

Tina Louise declined to return, and Ginger was recast with Judith Baldwin. Audiences didn’t mind — they came for the island, and stayed for the reunion.

Crime Inc

Informative, interesting and sometimes a little scary, Crime Inc is all about famous felonies and the criminal minds behind them. The series range from the extreme and chilling (Jack The Ripper, Colombine School Massacre) to the outlandish and outrageous (celebrity DUI and shoplifting scandals).
